If something is wrong right now
Do not use this website to decide about an emergency
Sudden difficulty breathing, heavy bleeding that will not stop, a spreading facial infection, sudden vision change, severe pain, or a high fever after surgery all need urgent in-person medical care. Contact your surgeon and go to an emergency department. Our warning signs page describes what to look for, but it is not a substitute for being seen.
Information changes
Credential information, register contents, regulations and clinical evidence all change. Every check we publish is dated, and a date is a statement about one day rather than a permanent condition. Confirm anything that matters directly with the relevant authority and with the provider, and treat an old date as a reason to check again.
